The Ag Animal pest control license is available either as a Public certification, for those applicators that apply pesticides animals and that work for federal, state, county or municipal public agencies, or as a Commercial certification for contractors.
This exam requires a passing grade (70%) and a passing grade (70%) on the General Standards (Core) Exam. The license must be renewed every 4 years either by testing or with 8 CEU's.
Cost of the exam: Free
Cost of the license itself: $60 for Public category
$160 for Commercial category
Cost of renewal: $60 for Public
category
$160 for Commercial category
This certification
requires the following CEUs for renewal:
4 CEUs in the Ag Animal category plus
4 CEUs in the Core category
for a total of 8 CEUs
Note: 1 CEU (Continuing Education Unit) equals 50 minutes
of classroom time.
Renewal period: every 4 years
Note: This is a State of Florida
certification issued by the Bureau of Compliance Monitoring (BCM), a
division of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS).

Correctly" (SM-1) $7.00,
also called the "Core" manual
